Where are Fury Tires Made?
Fury Off-Road Tires LLC was established in 2016 and has quickly become known for its innovative designs and cutting-edge products. Plus, they’ve gained traction in the truck community with their big tires sizes.
Beginning in 2019, Fury began the consolidation of their headquarters and warehouse into one facility. The new 75,000 square foot building recently became home to Fury Tires in Coppell, Texas. This new location is designed to serve as the company’s warehouse and home to the sales and operations teams. However, the company sources its tires from manufacturers in China, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Are the Fury Country Hunter MT Tires Good?
Unlike the R/T tires from Fury, this tire’s intended design was to deliver aggressive performance in muddy conditions. With four massive lines of tread blocks, the space in between helps the tires grip into the terrain and fling out any loose dirt, gravel, and mud. This tire also features deep sipes in the tread blocks for rock evacuation to avoid premature wearing. These sipes help with performance in wet on-road conditions too. It also has stone ejectors extended from shoulder to shoulder of the design to prevent debris from lodging. This tire can handle the abuse of the outdoor lifestyle.
One of the best things about this tire is its 3-ply sidewall design with a high turn up that looks amazing and protects from punctures and damage to the sidewall. Plus, when your tires are constantly being aired up and down, this sidewall helps with maintaining their integrity.
The Fury Country Hunter MT has an aggressive, non-directional tread pattern that’s bold with deep lugs and a center zone to help with its off-road performance. A lot of people who run these tires love them because of their beefiness and how great it makes their truck look.
To be transparent, this tire is not known for having the best off-road performance. In fact, customers have actually used the term “mediocre” when it comes to being a mud tire. If your intention is to run this tire primarily on pavement, gravel roads, or moderately muddy trails, you’ll find that these tires do the job.
The Country Hunter MT is surprisingly a good daily driver tire option besides one small con. The road noise is probably 90% louder than other tires on the road. This is pretty common in a mud tire due to the fact there’s a high void ratio for gripping terrain and flushing out debris.
These tires don’t claim to have a specific tread life, but verified customers of this tire have reported getting at least 50,000 miles out of them, which is pretty good. Fury tires also come with a 4-year warranty that says any tires deemed defective will be refunded for the first 10% of the tread life.
What Sizes Do the Fury Country Hunter MT Tires Come In?
One of the things Fury is known for is producing some big tires. You can grab these tires in a wide range of sizes, including tire heights ranging all the way up to 42” and widths all the way up to 16.5”. So if the goal is to put some big, meaty tires on your truck for the ultimate performance, Fury gives you the option to do just that.
How Much Do Fury Country Hunter MT Tires Cost?
These tires start around $1,252 for a set. They’re definitely not the cheapest mud terrain you’ll find after doing a quick internet search. Keep in mind though that their sizes start at 33”, and a lot of other tire brands offer smaller sizes than that. So if you compare, you’ll notice that 33” Country Hunter MT tires are actually pretty comparable to other 33” mud tires.
