Alright, you have all of your hunting equipment, but your vehicle can't keep up with your hobby. Get the most out of your truck for your next hunting trip with just a few modifications.
Table of Contents
This is the obvious place to start. You can't have the perfect hunting truck without the truck. Your truck choice will be based on your personal preference, budget, etc. Most people argue that a pickup truck is the optimal choice for a hunting truck. We have seen plenty that arent though, a Jeep Wrangler is a very popular option as a hunting truck, actually. Once you have your truck of choice, we can move on from there.
Where practicality and fun meet. This is what we do best here at Anthem Off-Road. Yup, we are talking about wheels, tires, and suspension. The most important thing to remember here is that you are outdoors, you will be driving in harsh or off-road conditions that aren’t always forgiving.
You can't have tires that won’t make it through a little mud. And you can't have wheels that aren't tough and durable. Finally, you need some suspension for ground clearance as well as keeping that ride smooth.
As far as wheels go, you want something strong and durable that can keep up with your hunting adventures. We recommend taking a look at the Anthem Rogue or the Anthem Liberty. Those are our two newest wheels that are built tough to stand up to your abuse.
Packaging those wheels with a set of tires is the best thing to do because you will get free mounting, balancing, and shipping on those. You want tires that can get you through mud, grass, gravel, dirt, rocks, and more that you may come across on your way to your perfect hunting spot. The last thing you want is to get stuck. Some of the most popular picks include the Kenda Klever R/T and the Venom Power Terra Hunter X/T.
Finally, you’ll need some upgraded suspension to help you fit your new tires and give you some more ground clearance with a smoother ride. Some popular choices we see are ProRyde Leveling Kits, and BDS Leveling Kits.
There are so many modifications you can add to your truck that will help you out. These things include, a roof rack, hitch carrier, truck bed storage, cap/ topper, lighting, tent, winch, bumpers, tow mirrors, jerry can and so much more. These are great places to start though. Then you'll just need yourself and your hunting essentials.
